Im in the middle of building my ls/vtec and I need some advice from an experienced lsvtec builder. Will I be alright with this setup or will I wreck the motor after a few months?

2nd gen b16a head
90-93 b18a
b18a rods
b16a pistons
honed/surfaced block
surfaced head
itr springs/retainers/cams
b16a water pump
b16a oil pump
b16 timing belt

Also can someone make me a list of parts that are REQUIRED for this motor or am I ok with what i've listed above???

You should be fine with the parts listed. Personally, I would add ARP rod bolts to that, but I have seen builds like yours run well consistantly.
 
im just confused about what timing belt to use i heard use whatever water pump i use and i have a b16 water pump so do i use a b16 timing belt?? also my friend is parting out his b16b is there aything i can use off of it for my lsvtec that are better than any ofthe parts I have??
 
You will use the b18c timing belt because the B16 timing belt is about 8mm to short!

whats a crank girdle, where can I get it and how much is it??
