I want to convert my 94 Del Sol V-Tec model from 4-100 hubs to 5-114 hubs.
Do the cv splines interchange?
I have converted factory part numbers of bearings to these aftermarket bearings
front SKF 171
rear BCA 512255 bearing /hub assembly.
The front 5 bolt hubs are only available through Acura that I can find. Would a
CR-V front hub work? It is civic based and has the 5-114 pattern?
I know the "base" Del Sol has a smaller rear axle than a V-tec, because the rear base model hub/bearing would not fit over it. Is the ITR axle the same size?
I know I'll have to convert the rotors to 5 bolt also. I think the Del Sol V-Tec model used the same brakes as the Civic Si (?) Could I use a big brake kit for a ITR? Will it bolt to the spindles and rear control arms?
I'm in too deep to stop now!! Any experience would be greatly appreciated.
