94 to 89 gauges

Hows it going? My buddy has a 1994 DX 4door that he doesnt drive anymore and is junking it b/c he just bought an 06. He said i can come take whatever i want off the car for $5 it just has to run and drive and have the tires on it. So im getting a center console, a Pioneer head unit and 2 intakes, a K&N one and a APC one, and some other random stuff. His gauges have the tach in it and i want a tach in mine. My question is how hard would it be and what would I have to do to put his gauge cluster in my 89 DX hatch? would it fit right in there or would i have to switch the entire dash out? Thanks for your help!

There was a write- up somewhere on Hondaswap. But it will work and fit. Try researching that is the only way to learn.
