96 civic swap help

I am wanting to swap my D16y7 with a B18c1(trying to build a GSR) and i want to know if i can use the wiring harness thats in it and even though i am going from non-vtec to vtec help i know a little about hondas but not alot please help

you modify your stock harness to fit the B18 and add the necessary wires where needed

there are also companies like rywire that sell wiring kits that make this pretty straight forward for those that are afraid of wiring

thanks i was told that but then i was also told that i would keep popping the vtec cylinoid? is there any truth to that?

There shouldn't be any "popping" going on if you do things correctly.

You'll need to run wires for the VTEC solenoid and pressure sensor. That's about it.
