One of my really good friends that I grew up with has done this. He was trashed, walking home from a bar, when some dude decided to mug him. He ended up leaving the guy in a pool of his own blood with a broken face and arm. He just took the cash in the mugger's wallet. He went on his way, but went back about 10 minutes later (walked 5 min, then turned around) and the dude was gone, but all his stuff was there. Looked like he got hauled off by someone.
