Tuner In Training (Tit?)
G'day folks. This afternoon I will be the proud owner of a 98 Civic DX hatch, which is bone stock motor-wise for now, but has a few suspension goodies and the like. My question is this: I have almost always heard the 96-00 models referred to as EK's and so I have been referring to my future car as such. However, I was poking around on the web out of curiosity yesterday and discovered that EK was used for EX's, Si's and CTRs (i think), and not-so-pimp models were EJ's. I feel like a 'tard for not doing my homework earlier, but on sites like passwordjdm they refer to all 96-00 civics as EKs. My cup runneth over with confusion. Will i get backhanded for calling my car an EK in general conversation even though its technically an EJ6?
Semi-pointless question I realize, but i figured it'd be worth asking.
