Yeah they didn't have a mandrel machine[shop was in the ghetto], so I went with the bigger piping. My thinking is that I want 2 1/4" piping (if it were mandrel), so I figure 2.5" - craptastic crush-bent diameters = less than 2.5 and closer to my 2 1/4 goal.
 
2.25". he had to expand them quite a bit to get them to fit.
 
The shop were i had mine done has a mandrel bender so i got 2.5 from the cat back.
 
Sweet man. Sounds good. Sounds a alot better than the magnaflow I have :p

And 2.5 exhaust is fine. backpressure is the enemy. The free-er flowing the better mang!

Sounds like a plan.
Just got off the phone with one of the powder coaters here in town, and he quoted me like $60-70 for the blasting and powdering, so I'm gonna shop around a little bit more and see what I can do.

I'd like to do it when I adjust my valves, since it'll be off anyway. So I guess in the next couple of weeks it should be done.
 
Hmm. now thats interesting.

I guess I'll have to try it out and see how it good it works!
I think my buddy here in town has a blaster that we can blast my VC with, then I'll paint it on. we'll see.
