anyone have a crx/b16 with place racing shift linkage,motor mounts and an aftermarket short shifter that works with that setup? skunk2 ss would not work,so now im back with stock shifter
I put one in my car (89 hatch with B18c) and found that I had to "relocate" the weight at the end of my modified LS shift rods and then also move around the exhaust pipe.
This is due to the Skunk shifter sticking downwards as much as it does. They have to do this in order to make the shifter "travel" as short as it is.
i have place racing shift linkage and mounts...when i installed the skunk2 ss the shift rod and linkage would hit each other..basically it wouldnt work..i guess my setup cant use a short shifter and that sucks. i sent an email to place about the situation with no response..just wondering if anyone has my setup with a short shifter that works?
