There is a diagnostic connector which you can use a jumper wire to get the reading for the error code. For RHD vehicles this diagnostic connecter is located at the LH pillar just besides the glove box. There are 2 connectors, both held side by side with a green rubber holder, DO NOT use the 3 pin which is ODB1 and can be used only with a scanner. Use a jumper wire to connect the 2 pin socket and switch on the ignition. Read the flashing of the checking lights to get the code, long flashes for 10 and short flashes for 1. Get the code and I will let you know what is the problem.
