[b16hatch]

Will a b17a1 crank slide right in to my b16 block with no modifications , just take the b16 crank out , slide the b17 in ?Will it fit ,work, add hp , tq?

get b17 rods too, or you're going to have some problems.

Is a B17 deck height not taller than a B16? Sure it may fit, but will the pistons smash into the head once it is assembled?

Deck Height = same
Rod Length - not the same
Bore = same (81mm v 81mm)
Stroke = not the same (81.4mm V. 77.4mm)

that's using our ref. section. Im not sure exactly what the rod length actually is, but if someone else wants to find it, go for it.

i remember its 5.208 on the crower website, using the google calculator thats 132.2832mm. using the deck-height and stroke method, rod is 131.87mm(for B17A).

according to the quick specs sheet, the b17 block is only .07mm taller. if the pistons fit in a b16, itll fit a b17...atleast theoretically
