b18a1 EG Idles UP & DOWN

Hi, I just did this 92 B18a swap into my 94 hatch dx. everything went in fine. The first time I started up, it sounded ok, but thats when the engine is cold. After a few minutes when it is warm, it starts to idle up and down and it doesn't stop. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

IACV...or maybe some vacuum line is screwed up.

Usually means you put the wrong plug on the IACV...


Should have a black/blue wire and a yellow/black wire going to the plug.

if its not doing it till it warms up you may have air in the radiator still. Let it run with the rad cap off and see if it drops up n down with the idle. The vac problem should do it from the get go. But you can pinch a vac line to check for it.

ok nothing worked but I did the step 6 from this bad idle trouble shooting guide i cleaned out the IACV. it got the job done for about an hour. then it started the jumping idle again. would it be my IACV. any help is appreciated
