Is it possible to convert a B20 to VTEC?
answer to your question: yes, use a b series vtec head
did you read the faq? hes talking about the b20a, the prelude bastard child of honda motors. a vtec head will not bolt on without an assload of customization and money. basically its not worth it and the bseries parts are not compatible with this engine.
no. and on a side note. i talked to a guy the other day with a turd gen prelude. and he told me he was going to put variable valve timing on his b20. lol.
This guy used to specialize in VTEC conversions for the B20A... but not anymore.
maybe you missed the joke. variable valve timing(vvt) not vtec. vvt is toyota. lol this guy was a tool. and i had to refrain from laughing the whole time.
I was replying to the thread in general, not your OT post.
actually. it wasn't offtopic. i supplied an answer first.
