best year for an s2000

I'm looking to get an s2000, but i don't really know what's the best year to look for. i know that years differ with a 2.0 and a 2.2 motor. any advice?

theres no 2.4 but anyways get the 2002 i think that was the first year of the rear glass being real glass

AP1 2000-2001 2.0L, plastic rear window
AP1 2002-2003 2.0L, glass rear window
AP2 2004-2007 2.2L, glass rear window, updated mirrors/bumpers, updated interior and suspension (no snap oversteer), new transmission with stronger synchros in 2nd and 3rd, shorter gears 1-4, longer gears 5-6, 17" wheels over the AP1's 16"s

I bought a 2003 because I wanted the 9000rpm redline and the twitchier suspension- plus it's what was available to me. You can get a control arm kit for not too much that will fix the snap oversteer problem on an AP1.
