Ok guys so had the car running. I changed the pistons the day before. Thrn when I was driving I noticed whenever I would floor the pedal the car would pick up but once releasing the petal and gassing it again. The car would hesitate to pick up until you shut off the car and check the spark plugs. Then I bought it to a shop and I was about to run a compression test and I disconnected the distributor wires and the connectors into the distributor itself. As I went to turn it over the engine just cluncked and stopped. Now I can turn the crank with my hand and a ratcet but it won't start. It is a b18a in a 89 civic help me out cars pissin me off now.

maybe u need a starter first off, secondly the hesitation sounds like u were throwing a code and when u shut the car off it would reset the ECU, check the codes on the ECU.

Well I figured out the problem there was gas still in the combustion chamber thus it can not be compressed causing it to stop. I'm just going to let it dry give me some tips how I can dry it quicker.

and you really think that, dont you, lol

there would have to be a fucking puddle of gas on top of the piston itself for that to happen.

Did you put oil in it?

well if u got a puddle of gas, and your car was hesitating after u floor it, but was fine after u took out the plugs, id have to say one of your injectors is bad or stuck open. get your injectors cleaned or buy some new ones.

Before I took out the sparkplugs it was doing that but the only reson they stayed open was because they car kept priming them because it was in the on position. I don't think its the injectors but I have reason to bliee it may be. I might try running some seafoam through them and seeing if that helps. I really want Blanco's opinion if he would help me out.

ummmmmm im not sure if youve ever worked on a FUEL INJECTED car. but when the key is in the ON position it doesnt mean the injectors should be spraying fuel. the only time they spray fuel is while its running or cranking. so if it was dumping fuel in the ON position then that means one of your injectors is STUCK OPEN, so when the freakin pump turns on it just goes right into the motor like an open hose.

CLEAN THE INJECTORS OR BUY NEW ONES

then change the plugs. and tell us how it is.
