blinking light?

The led under the passenger side carpet is blinking 15 short blinks in succesion, what does this mean?

That is your ecu telling you something is wrong.. But watch it closer, there should be a series of long flashes followed by short flashes, followed by a pause. It shouldn't do 15 quick flashes at a time.. Is the car running? CEL on?

Oh, and what car? Year/make/model/trim level?

I had my ef do that with the d16a6 it is a ignition output signal. If your car has been modified or converted from dpfi to mpfi check the larger white wire in your dizzy. Mine was loose.
