bov functionality test?

i recently bought a jdm blitz off of a rb25. I took the bov apart to clean it up. I noticed the piston seems stuck. My old DSM 1g blow off valve would release if I pressed on it. The piston at the bottem doesnt budge what so ever. Is it even supposed to? Im not very familiar with these. Any help or knowledge would be appreciated. thanks

"JDM Blitz"? What is that supposed to mean? I know the brand Blitz, but what in the hell is a "JDM Blitz"?

If its not opening with the pressure of your hand, chances are it might not work on the car. The only way to tell is to throw it on there and give it a shot.
