Building an ls vtec.

So, to make a long story short i have a b17 turbo and i spun a rod bearing. I am leaning towards getting some kind of b18 block and going ls vtec. I was wondering if there is some kind of list somewhere that lists exactly what i need for this engine setup. Also if i am buying a block and plan on building it(sleeve/piston/rod) should i go with the stock ls crank???? any constructive input would be appreciated, thanks!

i did a stock ls vtec build in my sig that has all the parts i used. pretty easy to follow and if you want to change out block componets just add pistons to my build.
