car smoking

I have an ls/vtec turbo, when I first start it in the morning it dosen't smoke. But after 2 or 3 minutes after idle it starts to smoke, the smoke is like blue with black. Could it be the pistons rings?

If it is the piston ring would it smoke all the time?

sometimes yes then sometimes no it can just be a few things like the valve seals
