Codes!!!

im a noobie to this and was wondering when other ppl say all those code like Code 15, Code 21, where will you be able to see these code on the car to see whats wrong.

depends on which car you have - on some you can look at the ECU and see a red flashing light and you count the flashes - on others the check engine light will flash after you put a jumper in the connector under the dash

BLKWDW tell us your car, then we can tell you how to get the codes you are getting the CEL (check engine light) for... that simple

i have an 88 civic dx...but i was just wondering cause everyones like saying all these codes there finding.

yours will read on a nifty window on the ECU

and if you don't know where your ecu is, it is located on the passenger floor, under the carpet just below the dash.
