LS can be sort of related to as a "family" car, compared to a GSR or B16 powered car, and most soccer mom's don't fly through gears, or buy cars for their acceleration through gears, but more for their fuel economy.

Are all B-series tranny gears interchangeable. Like could I use a b16 tranny with 4th and 5 gsr gears or gsr tranny with 4th and 5th ls gears. Cause the hydro ls tranny are really hard to find over here and I was thinking maybe by getting a b16 or gsr tranny and just use the 4th and 5th ls gear or would it be better to use the hydro ls tranny cause 300whp DD with a LS tranny would be smarter but what about the track, would it be better to have the b16 or gsr 1st-3rd gear at the track????
