only reason i did it on my old motor was i had just swapped a new intake mani(skunk2), bored TB, and the hondata heat sheild gasket. i already had it all apart and figured it would be pointless to have the hondata heatsheild to keep the mani cool, when i have hot coolant running through my TB to warm it up..??
