I'm not sure if this is the right forum, if not please move to the appropriate place. I recently traded my 97 civic ex for a 1990 b16 hf crx. The car belonged to adaml2nv who was a great guy to deal with. The following are the list of mods the car currently has:
jdm b16a1 motor
s1 b16a1 tranny
mugen pr-3 chiped ecu 4500 vetc, no rev limit
dc 4-2-1 one piece header
tenzo-R rear section
custom 2 1/4 piping header back no cat, no resanoter
cheap ebay intake
civic type R cams
cluchmaster stage one clutch
heavy duty presher plate
kyb 4 way adjustable sturts all around
lowered on coilovers
front camber kit
I've decided to turbocharge the car, and while right now I don't have the cash to buy a turbo kit right away. I figured I'd get started preparing the body for more power. I would like to hit high 11 second 1/4 mile runs on street tires and low 11/high 10 passes with slicks. I plan on getting nitrous in the future, but what other steps can I take to achieve faster times? I figure the biggest problem I will run into is traction, but just wondering what should the next things I focus my attention on should be. I'd like the car to still be streetable, and not lose too much comfort or reliabity. Thanks in advance
