Cut VTEC solenoid wire?

I have a question about vtec solenoids

I have a 97 honda civic and i just put in a gsr b18c1 engine in. The vtec solenoid wire was cut....... Do i have to replace the whole solenoid???

Probably not- wire it up to an OEM plug and see if it works. If not, replace.

As long as there's enough wire sticking out, you can just twist it on to the other harness.
