d15-d16 swap (harness and ecu help)

I am swapping out my D15b7 for a d16y8. Im having trouble with what to do as far as the wireharness..I have my old d15 harness but am not sure if the ecu will run the d16 ( i would have to run v-tec wires as well.)I only have the partial harness for the d16 and the ecu. What should i do? I know very little about harness and electrical stuff.

if i should use a d16 harness then does anyone know a place where i can get one.

the d16y8 is a obd2 engine so the engine harness is not compatible with the harness in you car.
Back in the day I installed a d16y7 in my 4dr dx. I used the D15b7's engine harness. You will have to modify the harness if you plan on using the odb2 intake and injectors.
Simple wire spilce and resolder.
Sounds like you got the obd2 ecu with the engine.
I would sell it and buy a p28. That will plug right in to your existing harness.
Then just run the extra v-tec wires.
