I'm dropping a D16Y8 into a 1994 Civic LX. The engine I bought did not come with an alternator, and I'm planning to convert the D16Y8 to OBD1. Will the alternator from the B7 PHYSICALLY work on the Y8 block if I have all the right pulleys?
A/C and power steering aren't important to me, so I'll worry about those later.
Also, is the distance between the injectors any different on a B7 intake manifold than on a Y8? Could I reuse my fuel rail?
