    Background:
I have a D16a6, in a 1990 Hatch Si. I was going about 115, and the tack started to drop. Now i can get the car to trun over fine, but it will not start. It some times will start for a brief moment, but immedeatly die. I have changet the plugs, wires, fixed the timing, checked for fuel pressure. I have taken out the injectors, and cleaned them as best that i could. I am going to put them back in tonight. Next i plan to see if it is the fuel pump by having a friend trun the car on acc. while i listen by the fuel door. After those two things i have no idea what to do. I have looked at the ECU when i turn the car to the III before starting, but it only flashes once (letting me know it is on) so im not sure where to go from here. If you have any ideas please let me know.

Everything is conected, all the fuses are fine, the dristributer is fine (i do get spark) so hummmm. I took off the fuel reail and cleand the injectors. When i was puting it back to gether the bolt that comes up from the intake mani broke off. So i have 2 that can be bolted on, but the last one is broken. It has maby 2 turns of the threads left so i am now even deeper in the hole that i innationaly was. So now do i need to get a new intake mani? Or is it fixable....save me!!

So your getting fuel but not spark. it sounds like the distibutor cap and rotor button need to be changed.

Bnbolt the three 8mm (i think) bolts on the dizzy cap then check to see if there is any black soot on the terminals and little bits of shit where the spark could have burnt any thing. but dont take your wires off.

I would check your compression in each cylinder before you do anything else. Did the car overheat????
