D16Y7 block, D16Y8 head

Hi all. I'm doing a mini-me swap, converting my non-vtec SOHC D16Y7 to vtec by putting on a D16Y8 head. I currently have the head and the ECU. What else do I need? Do I need a new wiring harness, or do I just locate the appropriate wires? I have a 2000 Honda Civic DX Hatchback. My Y8 head is from a 1996 Civic EX Coupe. Thanks!

new Y8 timing belt, Y8 head gasket, and remove the oil control jet in the block and you should be set. Just wire VTEC up like you would a swap, you could use the harness if you wanted it really clean looking but it's not mandatory to have it.
