sorry i'm a bit of newbie to all this but i'm currently looking for a d16y8 engine for my manual transmission stock 2000 civic ex coupe. it has roughly 120k miles and recently just started "knocking" extremely bad and quite loud. it still runs/moves for now but i quit driving it and just start it up once a week. anyways possibly some other engine swap if not too pricey between the $1000-2000 total costs area. so please be easy on me and help with this subject is much appreciated. also i'm located in the northeast tennessee area and will discuss shipping cost if needed.
