RETIRED
1. Can you cry under water?

2. When we were young we used to go "skinny dipping," now we just go
"chunkydunking."

3. How important does a person have to be before they are considered
assassinated
instead of just murdered?

4. If money doesn't grow on trees then why do banks have branches?

5. Why do you have to "put your two cents in"... but it's only a penny for
your
thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going?

6. Once you're in heaven, do you get stuck wearing the clothes you were
buried in
for eternity?

7. Why does a round pizza come in a square box?

8. How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be a
good
idea to put wheels on luggage?

9. Why is it that people say they "slept like a baby" when babies wake up
like
every two hours?

10. If a deaf person has to go to court, is it still called a hearing?

11. Why are you IN a movie, but you are ON TV?

12. Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in!
binoculars to
look at things on the ground?

13. How come we choose from just two people for President and fifty for Miss
America?

14. If a 911 operator has a heart attack, whom does he/she call?

15. I signed up for an exercise class and was told to wear loose-fitting
clothing.
If I HAD any loose-fitting clothing, I wouldn't have signed up in the first
place!

16. Wouldn't it be nice if whenever we messed up our life we could simply
press
'Ctrl Alt Delete' and start all over?

17. Stress is when you wake up screaming and then you realize you haven't
fallen
asleep yet.

They say that just before you die, your entire life flashes before you.

If this is true, how do we know we're not in some hospital bed dying right now, watching our life - up to this point - flashing before us?

Um, hello, free labor force.

Yes, I'm going to answer the ones that really have answers. :p

1. Can you cry under water?

Probably, but you're generally not becoming emotionally distressed while you're submerged in water. It is physically possible to cry under water though. Nothing may come out of your tear ducts, but being under water will not prevent changes in your emotional status.

7. Why does a round pizza come in a square box?

Pizzas are cheaper/easier to manufacture in a round shape from a ball of dough, boxes are cheaper/easier to manufacture in a rectangular prism shape from flat pieces of cardboard.

11. Why are you IN a movie, but you are ON TV?

You're ON a movie screen, but IN a movie.
You're ON a TV, but IN a TV show.

14. If a 911 operator has a heart attack, whom does he/she call?

The operator just yells at punk ass sitting next to him/her.

Why do they have brale(sp?) on drive up ATM's?

Manufacturing and economies of scale. Not all ATMs are placed in drive throughs. Some are placed for pedestrian access. Why manufacture and stock two completely different sets of keypads and have to stock two different types of machines (tons of extra cost) when you can just make one that will work for everyone regardless of location?

If i melt dry ice, can i swim without getting wet?

Technically no, because you don't melt dry ice. Dry ice is solid carbon dioxide that sublimes directly from solid to gas. There is no liquid state when it "melts".

:)

Yes, I'm a dork.

:p

I don't think you can cry underwater for a very long time.

Crying involves a certain amount of uncrontrollable breathing - both inhaling and exhaling. So, if you were to cry underwater - you die underwater. So maybe people who drown, don't really drown. They think they're drowning so they start crying. Then they drown.

The irony of it all.

I know, E... I know. B)
