somehow, i ended up on the South Dakota DOT website....

Ran into this traffic pattern they are implementing.

I have to say, it's confusing as heck at first, but makes total sense after watching the video.

Have you seen these before?

I'd like to see it in action under real world conditions with heavy traffic and 'tarded drivers
 
We've had this in Fort Wayne for 10 years. The Dupont Road Bridge over I69 was converted to a diverging diamond.

Very efficient. Not confusing at all unless you were the type to draw outside the lines as a kid on purpose. Or just legally blind.

Lane markings are very obviously drawn and left turn red light runners don't hold you up when your light turns green.
