i have a b16 in my crx and i have read a places that the redline is around 8200-8500, but mine stops at about 7000. i have a pr3 ecu, is it the right one or what?

pr3 is a obdo ecu so if you have a 1st gen motor you got the right one

PR3 is also available in an OBDI variant, although they are much less common.

It is possible that someone swapped out ECU boards in your PR3 case, I would open it up and have a look.

so should i just get a chip to get a high rev limiter
