electrical problems

my 1996 ek9 (d16y8) is having electrical problems. all the power keeps surging only after i first hit the gas, if i start the car and don't touch the gas it wont surge. It has exhaust, aem cold air intake, and the battery has been moved to the back. if you have any suggestions please tell me. thanx !!!

check ur battery cables. make sure they are nice and tight and the grounds are good.

im having a similar problem with my sisters also, at idle, it does the whole vacuum leak problem.. but when i lightly touch the throttle to just slowly accelerate the car bogs down.. and looses power.. i have to stomp of the accelerator to keep it from doing this.. this can be a number of things i know, and right now im just trying to find out whats working right now.. is this the same problem u having?

i worked on it and for anyone else with this problem it was the altenator i had it rebuilt for 45 bucks and it runs like a champ
