"todays dumb question"
(pertains to a 93 civic....but most are the same)
does anyone have a clue as how to remove the black plastic emergency brake handle and spring loaded button assembly from the metal arm?
i bought a polished aluminum replacement as a little cheapo dress-up item for the interior.
but you cant get the new one on until you get the old one off.
the new one slides on and holds with set screws.
for now, i have to assume the oem handle is pushed on to the metal arm.
i tried to hammer it off using a block of wood and a light hammer.
it didnt move at all. but i wasnt wailing on it.
any ideas? thanks! tom the vatorman
