ok well Poor mans type R was my first choice and it still may be,but i wanted more balls and compression,well all the poor mans type r is a b16 head and a bottom gsr,all u have to do is a swap put the gsr pistons for some JDM B16 pistons,and o make more power,use the ITR cams and skunk2 cam gears and ITR Intake manifold and thats all that setup is,Power wise u should get easy 200 HP and 11:5 or 11:6 compressiom if built right and NOW,he is the other setup,same thing just different pistons,instead of the JDM B16 pistons,i wanted to use the CTR pistons and which would give me 12:1 compression,well when i found out that the 91 octane out here wouldnt be enough power to support the compression ratio i wanted to do,so i said forget,but then i figued out something most u guys probably know,well 2nd setup was gonna be a Stock JDM GSR with a piston swap for the JDM not USDM,but JDM B16 pistons,which would give me 11:9 compression but still to this day i havent figured if 91 ocatane would be enough for the compression ratio i wanted to do.there is this guy who actullay did that setup with the gsr and b16 pistons,but he uses USDM B16 pistons and got less compression 11:7 but he made 211 HP on his first dyno.so let me know what u guys think?here is the link to that guy with the setup.YouTube - Civic hatchback dyno run
