if anything just keep paying your payment on it and stop paying your insurance on it
they might suspend your registration on the car after a few months of not paying it but it is very cheap to get your registration cleared. that is what my friend did with his STi. it will save you 250 a month for a couple of months until you can get your finances right and pay your bills again.
