so i went and hung out with an old friend tonight while they were at work. around 11:30 a guy walks in. hes dating another chick that works there. before they locked the doors they asked me if i was driving the honda, to make sure no customers were in there. i said yeah, its my pos. then they asked the guy if it was his lesabre(sp?) and he said yeah. i said but mine not that big of a piece of shit. so then the conversation went like this: h- stands for him, the other guy m- stands for me. h- mines not a pos m- its a buick, kinda is. mines an 88, so its pretty old therefore a pos. but nothing on the car is original, everythings swapped so it runs like a champ. h- yeah, i used to have one. mine had all the jdm stuff done to it. m- cool, mines got the jdm front, seats, and swapped motor. etc. h- yeah i had an eg. with a jdm motor out of a 2001 crx. race edition. m- ok? what motor was it? h- i dont know, i didnt put it in. i didnt do the motor work. m- and? how do you drive a swapped car and have it worked on, yet not know? h- i had a mechanic frend do it all for me. the motor was a z something. m- a zc? h- no, it was like a ze or something. it was rare. like i said it was the race edition, they only made 1000 of them ever. i dont know what it was but it dynoed at 195 to the wheels. m- out of a 2001 crx? h- yeah, it was quick. but hard to find parts for. m- so what parts did you have to replace? h- i had to replace the clutch. wouldnt go into third gear. m- replaced the clutch? what kinda clutch was it? h- i dunno, i told my mechanic friend i needed one, he asked me if i wanted a stage two. i said sure, i didnt really care. m- so what car was the cluch for? was it an integra or civic clutch? h- i dunno, i just had the mech find it. i also had to replace the radiator, which was a bitch bc the stock civic radiator wouldnt fit into place, so we had to find one to fit. thats all i care to post. wtf? a 2001 crx limited race edition ZE motor?
