you'll probably make the most power leaving it stock if your car mostly is too. i/h/e don't really matter

I agree with B on this one. Unless you have altered compression, port work, or a hot cam you will not see much of any gains messing with the crossover point.

You may see some small improvements to economy, drive-ability, and power having the car dyno tuned with the mods you have but an off the shelf generic chip is pretty much a waste.

    unlikely

more likely... you were getting a $15 chip off ebay that was a "Spoon Sports chip"
which means that it is a generic chip that someone threw together that at best is based roughly on the base map that spoon runs in their HIGHLY modded DOHC (usually B series) race cars (hint: Spoon doesnt run generic chip tunes, they tune their cars individually)
which means that it will be pig ass rich (usually around 11:1afr) and have the ignition and fuel maps all wrong for your SOHC D series engine along with having the VTEC cross over point all wrong for your stock single cam

    you will lose power
    your mpg will blow
    it wont run right
you will likely blow it up

    stay away from generic chips

if you want to tune your car get some real tuning software and get it tuned on a dyno
or get a socketed ECU and get a chip burned specifically for your car...again preferably tuned on a dyno
street tunes are also acceptable... but either way get a tune that is specific to your car

really not needed with an intake and exhaust

are you planning to do a whole lot more to this engine?

because really if you are staying with a CAI and a cat back exhaust then you are wasting your time and money getting it tuned or even dynoed to tell you the truth

    save your money
put it in to brakes and suspension
then maybe some real mods or a swap
    then go get tuned

then definitely dont waste your time or money chipping or dynoing shit right now
you are going to need some serious tuning to pull off a high compression boost build
definitely not something a "chip" is going to take care of

If turbo is your ultimate goal I wouldn't have even bothered with the intake and header...you're not going to need those with the turbo setup...
