ive heard people say that the h22a swap into a civic will be able to run 13.6 at best i brought it to the track and mine ran a 14.8 i only ran it one but i was wondering why only a 14.8 i mean the clutch in it isnt good and i have stock suspension and stock tires so i didnt take that into consideration but i would liek to hear what other people ran with this swap in their car.

maybe your traction sucked
maybe your launch sucked
maybe your at a high elevation
maybe you cant drive for shit
maybe your engine is shot
maybe you have a bunch of shitty rice parts that actually made you lose power
maybe your some stunna driving around with an extra 1000lbs of shit on/in the car

i could go on for ever

basicly there is no way for us to tell you what you should run or why you didnt run what you think you should

keep practicing, it's all about power to weight and traction. Fuck Reaction times when practicing just focus on 60ft's.

I hit a best of 13.3 with my b16...hehe

I MISSED 3RD GEAR WITH THIS RUN AND MY SUSPENSION IS THE STOCK CIVIC'S AND ITS ALSO SHOT AS WELL AS STOCK CIVIC TIRES ABND MY CLUTCH IS WORN

with my h22 civic hatch, I ran a 15.4 at high elevation with full interior. Stock all-motor. Should be 14.4 at sea level.

practice your 60ft's - that is where you take time off, there isn't much you can really do after second and up.

I drove my friend's 1993 Civic EX coupe with H22A. Beaver Springs Dragway, Pennsylvania (high altitude).

My times with stock engine, full interior, stock VTEC engagement, stock tires and suspension.

I'm 17 and need more practice. Give me a break. Thanks. I did the best out of the three that ran the car. Including the owner. I felt bad about that.

Missing 3rd could be the reson why you time sucked! Thats an extra .3-.5 seconds right there! Plus you ran it once you'll learn to launch right and maintain traction out hole I wouldn't be to supprised to see your car cutting at the 13 second mark

All I did was drop the clutch off of the line. Accompanied by gobs of wheelspin up til about 5000 rpm. And the RT was based on .500 light. I definately felt I could have had a 14.1 with feathering the clutch. You should do a lot better next time.
