If we're talking completely stock versus completely stock, then the H22 wins, hands down. It makes 200 horses and 160ish ft/lbs of torque compared to 170/130ish for the B18C1...
We are running on dirt tracks we with a 92 prelude h-22 a with an automatic. I sold the car and was told the b18 might be a better motor for us on the dirt
I would stick with a H22 for the torque but that B18C will rev higher and possibly give better traction on dirt. Id go with the H22 w/lsd trans if it was me, but hey I wanted that in my hatch and built an LS VTEC instead.
