heater circut malfunction

My check engine light came on recently and i had the code read from a scanner. heater circut malfunction came up in bank1-ok english please. Any info? What to check first replace and so on. thanks

Bluecrxnc.......the car is a 1996 Honda Accord 2.2 L 4cyl.

Bank 1 sensor upstream or downstream?
It means you have a bad o2 sensor. You need to know the above info to know which one is bad. They aren't cheap on that model, so make sure you replace the right one.
