Hello! I'm Reinaldo. Please to meet you guys! Have a nice day...
Hola, como esta tu?
oh you just killed it. if you're trying to ask him how he is, its just como esta. como esta tu means "how is your"
Street talk VS book talk. Most people who take spanish in school can't speak it.
Besides como esta usted? is how are you in the proper correct formal way that no one uses.
nah. i've tried that phrase with Mexico and Guatemala born co workers and thats what they told me
My take is most people who know each other don't want to say como esta "anything" because its too formal. Como Esta! is enough by itself unless you're just meeting someone
For normal talks I say eh-lo "hello" or que onda/que tal. Sometimes que pasa
If I don't know the person or they are older I'll say como esta usted or ustedes. if younger, I say tu. but, only if I don't know them.
Separate names with a comma.
