Help!! 94 civicwith d15b7, swapping in a d16a6

    Im in need of some help. Im not sure if the d15b7 tranny will work on the d16a6 engine. Do i need a new ecu? What else should i know about this swap? Someone please help!

    yes the trany will fit prefect without any custom work,but you might need a new clutch kit as the spline count on the tranny might be diferent.

    you can use your same ecu since its non vtec and you will need your obd1 distributor and alternator
    think thats about it.

    you will need to use the D15B7 injectors

    the D15B7 alternator uses a 4-rib belt and the D16A6 uses a 3-rib belt - swap your B7 crank pulley onto the A6

    the D16A6 has the cooling fan switch on the back of the block - the B7 has it on the thermostat housing - need to install different connectors in order to plug it in

    only if his A6 came from a 88 model....

    what kind of connectors do i need? and what do they connect to?

    im not sure if it came out of a 88? it only has 60miles so i dout it. but the d16a6 came in 88-91....right?
