help crenk sensor

I am building a Frankenstein 1997 F22 Block and 1995 H23 Head. I will be running a OBD1 chipped PO6 ECU and the OBD2 wire harness and an OBD2 H23 distributor. The problem I need help with is I will not be able to run the crank sensor because I am running the 95 H23 lower cam sprocket that does not have the crank sensor pick up on it. What do I do about this? Do I need the crank sensor if I am running the OBD1 PO6 ECU?? Do OBD1 ECUs need to see the crank sensor signal to run? Any help will be appreciated.
