HELP: D16Y7

my engine D16Y7 was broken down. I searched for D16Y7, but I couldn't find anything. I don't want to make tuning.
What model of engine will be the most easiest to put on my car ? I've got honda civic-6 coupe.

Dude, where are you from? There's no way you live in the US and can't find a D series motor. I sold mine for $70 US dollars with a tranny. If it did not sell I was going to toss it out into the trash.

There's no way you can't find a D16..... Call up some pick and pull yards I'm sure theres a few hundred that have them.

Saying you can't find a D16 in ths US is like saying you can't find a fat chick that's single..

unfortuntly US is so far away from me. japan is closer to us, but D16 engines very difficult to find there. we have a lot of D15 and ZC engines. D16A is very expensive - 1400$. It seems to me that it would be cheaper to setup a japan engine on my civic-coupe.

should it be necessary to change ... (i don't know this word in english, equipment with (near) a engine, for example input a output collector, chip, and other things. I hope you understand me, and sorry for my dirty english) of D16Y7 engine to this equipment of ZC engine ? as I listened ZC engine isn't equal of the D16Y7 engine, and it's not enought to simple replace that engines.

i think...if you swap an engine with the same obd as your car then you should be fine... to me it looks like you have an obd2a car. (just like mines)

sorry don't know of that zc stuff. you should try out d-series.org those are the guys you'd wanna be talkin' to about d series engines.

says on the reference page that the zc engine is obd1. it's gonna be a hassle with wiring.

and could you tell me something about swap D16Y7 -> D15B ? I know that it needs engine with all equipment and collectors.

Yes, it does, but no it's not only OBD I. The ZC was in production in tegs till 2001.

I found there this information:

D16Y7 has obd = 2
ZC engines have obd = 0,1
D15B information is absent.

is it mean that it's not possible to replace my engine by ZC and maybe D15B ? (
