yea bro deffinetly check your timing.. Had the same problem with my hatch. It would sputter then wouldnt rev past 3grand. Once i re-timed i could get 5 but it was still al sorts of messed up.

what do y'all think about boostin this puppy...my buddy had a b16 with turbo but that seals in the turbo shit the bed from not lettin it cool after beatin on it...it startin consuming tons of oil and eventually the engine blew...i want to rebuild that turbo and use on my whip..what do u think??

I can understand ~100k life expectancy, hell, even 75k... but 30k?

If you build your motor for the type of boost you want it will last longer.

And if you dont race everywhere you go itll last longer too.

When you add performance parts to your motor you reduce the life of it.

That just the trade-off you make like Blanco stated.

i only plan to run about 5psi, keep it low, and i will def take care of it. any other things i should b concerned about like oil to use or intercooler??
