help locating engine

hey i recently bought a crx and it has a b16 swap in it. what i need is im trying to get it smogged legaly but i need to find out whatcar the egine came out of... does anyone know how to do this? the guy i bought it from never asked the guy he got it from. is there any numbers or plates on the block i can look for please help?

What does the engine stamp say? B16A? B16B? Figure it out, and then you can reference it here:
