I was wondering how to get all my music/movies off of my GF's computer and on to mine.

i'm by no means a computer guy, but if you just get a data transfer cable, you can do it. it's not too hard. you can buy it at computer stores.

I was wondering if they made something like that or not. So simply put it turns the other computer into a really big flash drive?

or if you're cheap, you can open the case both cases, stick her hard drive on to yours and transfer all the files that way. fastest way, cheap (free) and not difficult. just make sure if its IDE, like 80 pins, set your jumpers to master and hers slave.

also a "crossover cable" will alow you to hookup 2 computers via the NIC. never did it, so not sure how easy it is.

Get a eathernet hub and network the computers togeather thru the hub.

Or an external HDD
