help with axel

ok yesteraday i was completing my swap b20 in a dx civic 94, i got my set of intergra axels, and the driver side axel went rigth in with no problem into the half shaft and into the axel. and teh passenger side is giving me a hard hard time, it doesnt want to slide in, it goes in but doesnt want to go in completly, what can i do?? give me some suggestion please thanxs

did you try banging on it?
grease?
did you check for scrapes or burrs on either side that would bind it?
