cheaper than pure stuff.

pure silver is very soft. the copper makes it more durable.
if you had pure silver forks for example, they would wear out from your hands rubbing on them.

gold is still in the upper 500's. it hasn't improved much though recently. I remember when i was a kid it being about 425. and i remember silver being about 4-5 bucks.

i'm stoked though. $4 an ounce melt value pushes intrinsic value about $10

oh for sure. gold and plat. are way more money.... but their purchase price is also well above as well.
proportionally, silver is the better investment.

I remember not too long ago buying dolar coins (just under 1 oz) for $4-5 in Good-8 condition. I can melt it for more than 3 times that number now.

300% in 8-10 years ain't bad at all IMO.

i got like 70 lbs of this shit.

70x16 = $1120 melt value increase in 24 hours. can't beat that with a stick :p

do you make 1000 bucks a day off your investments? :p

the best part, is that i bought most of this stuff in the early 90's.

PLATINUM is where its at.

My prof was raging about it today in marketing. He says he's "retired" on platinum, but teaches for kicks.
