I saw it tonight. It's a Tarantino flick. It's........uh.........pretty fuckin crazy in my opinion.

And I was planning a trip to Europe with some buddys, now I am rethinking. :confused:

The polls are open Ladies and Gentlemen.....

havent seen it yet, prolly gonna see it saturday

and you are getting VERY close to your 1k mark....DUN DUN DUN...cmon the Millennium Cub is calling you

i hate the theatre. with a passion. too many thugs with no respect balbbing and making drug deals on their cell phones with 231 kids with them at an r rated movie at 10pm. drives me nuts.

so i stopped going.

it's currently en queue on azereus.
and when it comes out on dvd, i'll probably buy it.

RIAA, if you want to stop piracy, control your theatres.
if i wanted to pay 9.50 to fell like i'm in the ghetto, i'll buy 2 40's and a blunt.

It must be just your theaters.

RIAA = music
MPAA = movies

And the MPAA has no say over the conditions of your local theater - the theater owner does.

you must have some shitty theatres... well it is connecticut..

i havent seen it, a friend of mine has and she said it wasnt THAT gorey and it was ehhhh ok, nothing special. A movie about kids going backpacking who end up being taken to this place where other ppl come to kill ppl... sounds like a great plot to me.

the only decent theatre is in the next town over that is welfare capitol of the world...
everytime i go there i want to perform hate crimes.
so i stopped going.

That's too bad, we got some nice theatres around here. It can be nice every once in a while. You could always go to a matinee, since we all know black people don't come out during the day. :ph34r:

its not even black people.... its mostly polish and spanish gangeter thug wanna be punks

saw it, and was dissapointed. the killing/gory scenes were good, just not enough of them for a movie that was hyped up like it was. it was kinda like eurotrip meets saw, leaning more toward the eurotrip end. it was entertaining, but not as good as i wanted/expected. i went in there thinking it was gonna be non-stop killing/mutalation.

which is why I'm so pleased they built a new theatre in Wallingford, and the new kart track will be right next door.

To me it was a complete waste of money. I could of just watched some porn at home and checked out rotten.com for an hour and a half.

I was going to go see it Saturday night with Teresa and her sister, but no such luck. It was sold out. FUCK. I'll have to see it maybe this weekend.

i think you have to have a certain respect for horror style films to appreciate the stuff that goes on in it.

like, the devils rejects.
awesome flick.

its just so well laid out.
leaves questions.
doesn't have the damsel in distreess screaming bullshit

and this is from rob zombie.....

tarrintino isn't a fucktard... i bet its laid out pretty damn well.

I thought the movie was pretty well done, don't get me wrong.

I just don't like the premise of the movie one bit. It seems too real for me to be able to blow it off and laugh at it like a monster movie or something. And it was pretty gory, which is ok to an extent, but I just can't handle the hardcore shit anymore. I guess seeing your own bones break and come through your skin, you realize what it is actually like and it gives you a different outlook on pain and suffering. And to watch a movie that the plot is some rich yuppy fucks are paying to torture and kill innocent people, that just wanted to fuck some hookers, I just don't dig it.

I guess I'm a pansy. :shrug2:

This sounds to me to be a routine horror plot with some extra gore to keep up with the times.

For creativity and making me scared for no reason at all I think that Event Horizon was the last movie to accomplish it's goal. I was afraid of space travel for no reason.

then I thought about the possibility of becoming a skinless demon and it cheered me up again :)
